ELLIS SCHOOL: 3.00

The PT Girls Lacrosse team hosted The Ellis School in their second section matchup of the season. The skies cleared and the rain stopped just in time for the girls to take their first draw of the night. Annabelle Aquino led the team tonight with 3 goals, 1 assist, multiple draw controls and ground balls. Followed up by Adalyn Hawk who scored 2 goals, had several draw controls, and multiple caused turnovers.  Lily Crenshaw came in clutch with 3 goals, 1 assist, and a plethora of ground balls. Mary Brobst, Rylee Vovaris, and Chloe Sperduto also supported their team tonight by gathering up ground balls on the turf. The mic was hot tonight shining a spotlight on plenty of girls on the team as they added points to the scoreboard: Sophia Green (2), Georgia Vislocky (2 goals and 3 assists), Avery Bosack (2 goals and 2 assists), Maura Spadone (1), and a special shout out to Freshman Josalyn (Jos) Show on her first varsity goal!  The defense, led by Gianna Botti and goaltender, Madison Hagan did a good job limiting Ellis’ attack. Plenty of players added to the stat sheet tonight making this a true team effort, ending the game with a final score of 16-3 in their second section win. The Warriors take on the Hempfield Spartans and will be celebrating Youth Night on Friday, 4/5, with JV playing at 6:00, followed by Varsity at 7:30.
